2024 Spotlight International Piano Competition | Procedure and Timeline
May 1 – June 30: Preliminary Round
Participant must submit the following application by 11:59 PM CT on June 30:
1. Electronic registration form
2. Submit the recording in accordance to the requirements of the Preliminary and Semi-final Round
3. Non-refundable application fee: $120 USD
July 10 – July 14: Semi-Final Round
Semi-Finalists will be announced online by July 10. Semi-finalists must submit the following by 11:59 PM CT on July 14:
1. A short biography and high resolution photo
2. Request form for private coaching (optional)
3. Non-refundable Advancing Fee: $100 USD
Judges will provide critiques during this round, all critiques will be released at the conclusion of the competition.
July 31 – August 20: Final Round
1. Finalists will be announced online no later than July 31.
2. New recordings in accordance to the requirements of the Final Round must be submitted by August 12.
3. Results will be posted online by August 20*.
